Infrared heating: how it works, uses and advantages

Winter is approaching and the heating of the house is now a central concern of the family.

With the cost of heating oil is becoming unaffordable to many consumers turn to alternative heating sources, such as infrared heating.

But what is infrared heating and what are its advantages?

In the case of infrared heating, heat is produced and transmitted through the light which is invisible to the eyes. The reason is because it heats the skin and our clothes absorb light, just like when we "hit" the sun.

There are different types of infrared heaters: some scatter infrared light directly on site to heat the objects in it.

Other infrared heating systems are divided into three parts: infrared light bulbs, a "heat" heat (like a good conductor of heat like copper) and a fan that sends air masses in the changer to generate heat.

Finally, so-called heating panels differ in the fuel (propane, natural gas, electricity) for the material (there are up and ceramics), and portability (fixed or portable).

-Environmental Benefits

Infrared heating panels is that they save energy but the environmentally friendly nature is connected to the power source used. For example, if you consume electricity is produced from renewable or carbon?

Regarding the cost savings can be up to 50% compared to fuels such as oil and natural gas while compared with systems such as air conditioners and conventional electric heating, the savings can reach up to 80%.

Also, the heating panel products do not emit exhaust or other noxious fumes into the atmosphere, while some do not reduce concentrations of oxygen or moisture in the atmosphere.

-Uses and Benefits
The heating panels are a relatively inexpensive option heating source but can not replace the central heating systems and heat specific rooms.

They also have industrial, commercial uses in large spaces such as airports and warehouses, where there are frequent leaks air masses. Finally, they are used in places such as gyms and saunas.

Usually the heating panel is very useful when we need a source of direct heat.

Finally, the advantages include the following:

- Completely clean - odorless and noiseless operation
- Simple installation of radiators
- Ability autonomy of each room with minimal expense of a thermostat
- Simple and user friendly setting
- Precise metering
- Beautiful design as possible to illustrate patterns of your choice
- Space Saving
- There are no known unhealthy drafts conventional heating
- No air condenses on the walls and prevent the formation of mold
- Minimum temperature gradient
- Beneficial effects on all systems of the human body
